I've taken the MCATs myself twice scoring above 32 points combined. And I've completed two years of medical school before switching my focus to research and education. Over the past two years, I've been teaching Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Organic Chemistry, and Calculus at the College Level and preparing students for their MCATs, DATs, and GREs. ... More

My son was very pleased with Richard. He was very knowledgeable of the material covered on the ACT. My son said he is a nice guy and fun to work with. Was very prepared and helpful. Gave my son review materials to work on his own.

"The sky's the limit! Let's get started."
I have been tutoring now for 8 years. I started at the mathematics lab located in the BYUI library and branched out from there. I have held group and oneonone sessions with students. I've recently finished my degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am proficient in all things math: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, ODEs, PDEs, Statistics, and anything in between. I also have been programming heavily for years and would love to tutor: MATLAB, Mathcad, EES, Excel (including... ... More

"Math, Statistics and English"
I currently teach ESL at nights for "USA English Audiovisual School," in Plainfield, NJ. This gives me little time to tutor for Wyzant. But it does mean that I am very good at teaching English.
Most of my experience has been tutoring statistics for graduate students enrolled in non statistics programs. I learned what I know the hard way, and understand frustration many people have. All my tutoring experiences have been for classes with an integrated statistical computation element. Thi... ... More

We did some general set up and internet topics that had been irking me for some time.
Sean focused on my needs and lead me to the answers I was looking for, and ENCOURAGED me to do it my self.

I have been tutoring for nearly 10 years, ranging from Adult Basic Education to collegelevel Physics and Mathematics. I am beginning graduate studies in Physics at UC San Diego in the Fall of 2015. I recently graduated from SUNY at Buffalo with highest honors in Applied Mathematics and Physics. I was chosen as the Outstanding Senior in the Physics Department.

Archie is one of the best tutors I have ever had. He makes tough trigonometric proofs so simple and special right triangles a breeze. Archie not only helps you with subjects you may be struggling on, but also gives you a glimpse of what the SATs. He gave me my first ever "A" in geometry; the subject I struggling most on. I look forward to meeting him every time we make an appointment, he's a wonderful tutor and makes each session a blast.

"Tutor for Math Classes and Standardized Tests"
Hi!
My name is Archie, and I LOVE math (math is FUN!)! I have loved math since I was in second grade. I loved math so much that in my senior year in high school, I took AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC at the same time, and then majored in math in college, and went on to grad school to learn as much math as I could!
I earned my bachelor's degree in mathematics (with a minor in computer science) from the University of San Diego (USD) and my doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in mathematics from the U... ... More

I have been taking Hindi once a week with Ghulam for several months. He is very flexible, studentgoal driven, and competent. I always enjoy our lessons, and my Hindi skills have improved a lot. I highly recommend him as a tutor.

Sandy was very helpful to my daughter who really liked the way that she explained concepts to her. Sandy was also very honest in what she could and could not assist with from the school's syllabus.

My daughter is really enjoying working with Theresa! She is very patient and has unique ideas to get kids involved and interested in exploring their creative side. You can tell she truly cares about her students.

I would like to first say that she works well with assisting others under pressure and short notice. She has taught me already how to approach papers differently from what I have been doing and gives me a different perspective to look at. She is easy to work with, yet diligent and serious about the help she provides. I would recommend her to any one and continue to use her as my tutor through out my schooling process.
