Barron was a terrific tutor who helped our son raise his SSAT scores considerably. We had not chosen to tutor for the SSAT originally, as our son had always done well in scholastic testing, scoring 99th percentile every time. This was a huge mistake! I recommend to everyone that you tutor before taking the SSAT test. Due to timing issues, we had to move quickly to get the tutoring done before the next testing session. Barron was extremely flexible and agreed to meet with our son 4 days a week for the next two weeks to prepare. He was always on time, connected well with our son and was able to affect the change we needed to see in his scores. We were thrilled to see the huge change this made. We will absolutely use Barron again if we need any tutoring and highly recommend him.

I came from Korea 11 years ago, and I always felt the need to find a tutor who can help improve my writing. I never cared to find a tutor because I did not know anyone who could refer me to grammar/writing instructor. That is how I came across WyzAnt and met Phoebe.
Phoebe is the best tutor I could have ever asked for. She is ALWAYS on time, and the best part about having Phoebe as your tutor is that SHE WILL ALWAYS ANSWER YOUR EMAIL IN 1 HOUR. Time is valuable. I really respect Phoebe for always checking her emails frequently, and being on time for a session.
I just finished my MBA program and I will now be attending a law school in Los Angeles. During my MBA program, I was wait-listed on the law school in LA. I had to continuously send in letter of continued interest to this school, and I am so glad Phoebe helped me along the way because I AM NOW ACCEPTED!!! My daughter and I have been very pleased with Barry's tutoring for her AP Physics BC class. He quickly zoned in on the need for my daughter to understand the "why"behind the "what." He helps her make connections from unit to unit, allowing her to her realize that she does already understand much of the course content.
Scheduling has been easy and convenient. Barry has been flexible and clearly for him tutoring is far more about loving to help the kids out than making money, which I also appreciate. I recommend him highly.
