My son is very happy with the calculus BC lessons he receives from Steven. He clearly explains all concepts and never wastes his time. My son sends him the problems he has beforehand and Steven works them out so that during the lesson they are moving as quickly as possible. Also, Steven sends him useful review sheets through email when the lessons are over. I highly recommend Steven as a tutor for Calculus!

"Creative and Patient Math Tutor"
I have been teaching and tutoring more than 20 years in mathematics. I use good listening, simple language, and a sense of humor to make difficult subjects easy to understand and fun by using everyday language and real-world examples. I also have a love for the creative use for technology which allows me to make instructional videos for student remediation. I have benefited from extended time with a large variety of student populations, from College, to high school AP students, to at-risk st... ... More

"Certified Teacher, Experienced Tutor, many subjects, especially math"
I have an MEd in Special Ed. I've been a case manager at the High School and Middle School level. Many of my students have been coded with Aspergers or PDD of various sorts. I have worked at a private special ed school in Concord, which specializes in helping students with Aspergers. And I worked for years in the high tech industry, most recently as a technical writer, and worked closely with many adults who were very likely Aspergers. I do "get it". :-) And I know how to communicate and teach students who struggle with other teachers. ... More

Lee is excellent at working with my daughter who partly has a Non-verbal Learning Disorder. Currently, Lee is helping her with the writing process and reading comprehension, and has really made a noticeable improvement to my daughter's confidence in these areas. Lee uses a blend of teaching techniques that are both classic and creative that my daughter can respond to. She is also a pleasure to work with.

"Reading, Writing, Public Speaking, Study Skills and Stress Reduction"
When the mind is unfocused, it impossible to learn. The first step is to STOP and choose to pay attention deliberately. I have 30 years of "mindfulness' practice that I will teach your child to use. I also have worked with ADD children and adults as part of 25 years teaching public school. The Special Education certificate I have is valid in Mass and NH. I can help.

I am somewhat of a tutor "junkie." I don't have the time to take a formal class in math or physics. I have some very pointed, as well as some general questions in math and physics. Some times I just need someone to talk to me "one-on-one" to explain to me, in simple terms, that which I can't understand on my own. Menny fits the bill. He has a vast knowledge base and is able to explain in just enough detail to make it "click." I have a tendency to ask a lot of questions, I am very curious and love the joy of learning a new concept. Menny always says "You can ask me any question that you want." He doesn't get annoyed if I ask the same question over to get clarification. If you have trouble with math, Menny can help. I have used a lot of tutors over the years, Menny is a "find." You won't be disappointed.

"Experienced and very patient Maths and Physics Teacher"
I am an experienced teacher of maths and physics. I have taught many students from elementary level up to university students. I was an associate professor and I have an advanced degree in Engineering but I love teaching. I always put the student's interest first and adapt my explanations and the level of instructions according to the understanding of the particular person in my charge. My real satisfaction is to see that the student improves to the level that he doesn't need me anymore and... ... More
