Laura is a wonderful tutor and she is on time. I like her guideline that she provides, which is very helpful. I also like that she does questions as she explained the topics. I am very happy she is my tutor and I will recommend her to anybody who wants to pass NCLEX RN board for the first time.

"Laura K, RN, BSN"
I love to teach nursing as much as I love nursing. I received my BSN cum laude from Adelphi University over 30 years ago. I passed the first time I took my nursing board examinations (NCLEX). I know that it is very difficult to just take practice exams from a review book.
Learning should be fun and relevant, not dull and boring. I believe that the right 1:1 tutor-student relationship is what makes the difference! I teach students to look for "clues" in the questions which helps them nar... ... More

Mark is very good at going through the details step by step, which is really important for advanced math. He writes the problems out for me to use as a study aid. He is very good at explaining when I don't quite understand a problem; he can explain it in a different way than my professor so I get it. He's also good at reminding me how much I should be studying and helping me figure out what and how to study for a test. Since he used to teach, he has some insight on how a teacher might think and helps me focus on the important problems when it's time to do that last minute cramming for a test.

"Experienced Tutor With A Wide Knowledge of Test Taking Strategies"
I love tutoring because I love to learn and to communicate with others about what I learn. My first experience with tutoring come in high school. I was the valedictorian of my class so I would occasionally be asked by my peers for help with one thing or another. At first I was hesitant, but I realized that as much as I enjoyed learning, I equally enjoyed helping others learn. Mostly I enjoyed the ecstatic, "I got it!" that comes after mastering a particularly difficult problem.
