"Math, English, and SAT"

My love for tutoring comes from my love of learning. Growing up with a mother who is a teacher instilled the importance of education in me from a young age. It also allowed me to build the study skills and discipline that allowed me to graduate summa cum laude and phi beta kappa from the honors program of my undergraduate institution. Now, as a student at one of the top law schools in the country, I have been able to continue to hone these skills. I have many years of tutoring experience. ... ... More

Meeraj has given my son many lessons to teach him Chemistry of High School level. He has very deep knowledge of Chemistry, works with my son patiently and prepares good questions to test him. I also asked Meeraj to give few Physics lesson too, he was equally good at Physics too. He covers a lot during each session. Compared to other tutors who I contacted, he took fewer lessons and was spot on from day one. I am glad to find him through WyzAnt. Thanks

"Ranked in Top 20 Tutors Nationwide | Master Tutor for SAT/ACT/GRE Prep"

I took the MCAT in the summer of 2009 after 1.5-2 months of studying for only a few hours a day. I received a composite score of 31 with section scores of 11 PS, 10 BS, 10 VR. On practice tests, my verbal scores always ranged from 10-12. I believe I can help you increase your score regardless of your level; I have a Biomedical Engineering background so you can expect a strong grasp of physics, chemistry (organic and general) & biology from me coupled with the ability to dissect and simplify complex topics via practical and applicable anecdotes & real world examples, mnemonics & helpful analo ... Highly recommend her to anybody with young children. Very friendly and extremely patient with kids. Her different approaches and variety of learning activities keep my son interested in learning. She did teach him how to read in less than 3 months and is now working on his comprehension and sequencing. My son loves her!

Mr. Basem helped my son gain the knowledge he needed to retest on a subject. He improved his grade by almost 50 points. He was able to communicate the difficult information in an easier to understand format. This helped my son get the concepts he needed to perform well on his test.
Taylor was wonderful, patient, kind and especially understood our learning style. She instilled confidence where needed and reviewed material in a very effective manner. She also communicated with us very efficiently. Her empathy toward parent and student was also appreciated.
