Jeff is fantastic. He is kind, humorous, extremely prompt with email responses, patient, a good teacher, and incredibly knowledgeable: He was able to teach me what the professor and textbook failed to do! I will use him for the rest of this semester--I literally thought I was going to fail Symbolic Logic and thusly screw up my GPA and be forced to drop my major (for which this is a mandatory class,) which would mean that I would not graduate on time, or be eligible for Phi Beta Kappa, etc. At this rate, I am going to ace the hardest class offered by the university! And for that, I have Jeff to thank. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs help with math and/or symbolic logic!

"Learn by Doing and Understanding"
I was a computer programmer for many years and am now a math student. I can probably solve most of your problems with Excel. Honestly, it may take me a little bit to figure some things out (because I wasn't an Excel programmer), but I will answer all of your questions or figure out how. ... More

"Patient tutor, for all ages, helps when your learning is blocked"
I'm passionate about helping my students to turn what frustrates them into what they love. My specialty is in finding what blocks your ability to learn, and help you open the bottleneck.
My experience is that once the block is opened, learning comes naturally.
I am successful using this teaching method in various subjects. First are the basics - any gaps in reading or numbers are going to affect all other learning.
Also, similarly, I found that I can teach the basic concepts of using a c... ... More

John C. is such a patient and incredibly knowledgeable tutor. My grades in chemistry have improved tremendously this semester, thanks to John. The good part is John is not only knowledgeable in chemistry, but he also tutors math, english, history, physics etc...as well. He's also bilingual!! I'll definitely have John as my tutor for all my future subjects as I continue to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse.

Amanda has been a fantastic tutor! She has been working with my son on SAT math and writing skills, and has gone out of her way to plan the sessions around his hectic schedule. If you are looking for a qualified tutor who is knowledgeable, pleasant, patient, and punctual, look no further.
