A lifelong learner, I spend much of my personal time trying new things and challenging my own understanding. My goal as a tutor is to help the student reach a high level of independence and confidence.

Michael C knows his stuff! He teaches Geology with a lot of patience and makes you understand the topic! I'm not a Geology major, therefore don't have much interest in the topic, but I am required to have 2 sciences for my basics which is why I'm in the class. Michael makes Geology interesting, easy to understand, and doesn't make you feel dumb for not knowing the basics. I HIGHLY recommend him!

"Geology Tutor with Humor"
I have studied geology since the late 80's, was forced to leave school due to the failing energy economy of the late 1980's and began a successful company for 15 years until an untimely accident in 2009. I felt life was too short, and decided to finish my degree in geology at Sam Houston University (Bachelors in Geology and minor in chemistry). I have real life experience that I can use to help explain fairly complex theories that are the bases of earth sciences. I'm not an academic egghead... ... More
