For the past few weeks, Heyam has helped me study for the mathematics section of the Praxis Exam for my teaching certification. The exam involes number operations, algebraic thinking, geometry, measurement, data, and interpretation. Heyam arrived prepared to every tutoring session and provided different strategies to approach math problems. Heyam put her biggest effort in making sure I understood each math problem completely, not just how to get the answer but really understanding the concepts. In addition to being knowledgable, she was kind and patient. She even went out of her way to give me homework (yes, even as an adult student) to reinforce what was taught during our lessons. Thanks to Heyam I feel more confident about taking the exam and about math in general. Thanks Heyam! It was a pleasure working with you.

Jeff is fantastic. He is kind, humorous, extremely prompt with email responses, patient, a good teacher, and incredibly knowledgeable: He was able to teach me what the professor and textbook failed to do! I will use him for the rest of this semester--I literally thought I was going to fail Symbolic Logic and thusly screw up my GPA and be forced to drop my major (for which this is a mandatory class,) which would mean that I would not graduate on time, or be eligible for Phi Beta Kappa, etc. At this rate, I am going to ace the hardest class offered by the university! And for that, I have Jeff to thank. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs help with math and/or symbolic logic!
