I was really struggling with organic chemistry and Ami found many different ways to help me understand the material in a quicker more helpful way. Reading the textbook was very time-consuming and was just causing me more confusion and Ami tackled problems in different ways that helped me to understand what was going on. She's an incredibly patient, nice person and she's very understanding about how difficult organic chemistry can be. It also helped that she attended the same college as me so she had a better idea about what the curriculum is about. I went to a 4-year college and got a Bachelors degree, but it had been awhile since I took chemistry so that attributed to me having difficulty understanding organic chemistry. Also, I took chemistry at a different school so I wasn't familiar with Long Island University's organic chemistry class, it was CHM 121, but Ami helped me to gain some confidence about the material and she was very helpful in doing so. I'm glad I picked her as a tutor and she was able to meet me whenever and wherever was convenient and was on time. If there were to be an issue, it wasn't difficult to reach her at all and she answered promptly.

If you are looking for someone who is patient, considerate, and understanding- Miss Carmen is your tutor. My daughter is in the 12 grade and struggles with algebra 2. Miss Carmen helps her with her homework, goes over her class work, and makes sure she understands it. She comes on time and stay beyond her time...
What else can I say... she's a wonderful tutor she comes highly recommended.

Today was my daughters first session (subject: geometry) with Alexis and we could not be happier! My daughter said that she can not wait to go to her math class tomorrow, she feels that confident! During their one hour session, my daughter was able to review past assignments to see where her weaknesses were, focus on those weaknesses so that she was able to understand the proper steps to figure out the problems, she was also able to complete her homework assignment with the proper understanding and confidence she needed. My daughter said that Alexis was very easy to understand, she was very patient and thorough and made her feel very comfortable. When the session was over, Alexis took the time to speak to me and explain what they had covered during the session and gave us suggestions and tips on how to study and prepare for class. This was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Alexis, I can already see the difference she has made in my daughters life in just one day ... amazing!!
