"Experienced ESL tutor and Language Arts, Health Sciences"

Writing has always been a "sideline" passion of mine. I express myself better through composition than I do verbally, and I'm pretty articulate. I am currently writing a book and I am certified to tutor MANY English and Language Arts subjects along with all my medically related subjects. Linguistics fascinates me and I just love to write. ... I studied and trained with reputable, highly skilled instructors/performers as a music student at Georgia Southern University. October 2013 Ann has been tutoring my son for English and SAT preparation. My son was not doing very well in his Language and Composition Class. This is the first time we've ever hired a tutor and we are so glad we found Ann. My son has been very happy to have Ann tutor him. My son's writing and reading has improved remarkably. With Ann's help, my son was able to pass the AP test for the Language and Composition class and improve his grade. Last term, my son received a B in English. This term, he has improved to an A-. I highly recommend Ann for English tutoring and SAT preparation. She is very patient and flexible. She responds quickly to emails and keeps me informed on what she is doing for each tutoring session. Update 3/16/2014 This is the end of the term for my son's English class. This term he received an A in his English class. Without a doubt, the help he has received from Ann has improved his grade in English. If you are looking for an English tutor, I would definitely recommend Ann.

"Violinist, Guitarist, Producer, Mix Engineer, Songwriter"

Classically trained in the violin since the age of 8, Claire somehow lost her way to the orchestra. An avid fan of Indie Rock and Trip Hop, these influences are piercingly evident in her signature style of haunting and ceaselessly fluid melodies. Born and raised in Singapore, she started out playing the piano at the age of 5, and began teaching classical violin at 16. Soon after, Claire decided to pursue music full-time after finishing Secondary School. That was when she began performing gi... ... More

Are first session with Joshua was a great success. My son learned a lot from Joshua within the hour. Joshua was prepared and ready teach when we meet with him and used the time we had wisely. He also supplied my son with a spark chart that he could refer too, which became very useful considering my son does not get a book supplied to him by the school. Joshua is also very proactive, he is already looking into are next session. My son was very satisfied with the results and looks forward to our next session. I definitely recommend Joshua. Thank You!
