My daughter absolutely loved her first session. She left her meeting feeling that Organic Chemistry might not be impossible to learn. Frank S. was patient, pleasant and used an approach to chemistry that made sense to my daughter for the first time!

"Dr. Frank Chemistry and Astronomy Tutor"
I know chemistry AND I have taught the subject for years. I know how to make chemistry clear and accessible to you!
My training is in Organic Chemistry but I also completed the equivalent of a math major in college. By day, I manage a chemical database for a federal agency. Before that, I was a full-time college-level chemistry prof for 20 years and was on the committee that created editions of one of the American Chemical Society's standardized examinations.

Deborah has been a great tutor for my son. She has done practice test questions and practiced vocabulary and tricky questions. Also she spent some time with my son reviewing a SAT practice online essay and she gave many recommendations to him that were useful at the time of the real test. They also went through some multiple choice questions about improving sentences and identifying sentence errors. I am sure she made a great impact on my son's SAT score that I will publish when I receive the results. Thank you Deborah!

After teaching Latin and English (and occasionally German) at the same high school for 30 years, I have recently retired and now teach an SAT prep class at the local community college. I was dual certified by the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards, something that less than 1% of America's teachers have achieved, and I am also a published essayist.

I would highly recommend Paul as a tutor. I consider myself to be one of the most difficult people to even attempt to teach. Because of my learning challenges I have had difficulty in the past understanding math concepts and found it even more difficult to retain information. Paul has been extremely patient with me. He took the time to understand what my unique learning challenges were, what my end goal was, and designed a program uniquely suited to my situation and learning challenges. I feel very confident that with Paul's ability to teach and the strategy he has design that I will reach my goals.

As a retired public school teacher, I have taught grammar, reading, writing and speaking for over 30 years. I can help you in these areas so that you will become more proficient in the English language. Also, I currently teach GED classes and many of my students are not native English speakers, but they have become much more fluent by attending my classes. They have gone on to become successful in reading, writing and speaking the English language. ... More

For students who have been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, or even those undiagnosed but still demonstrate some of those typical characteristics, I have experienced that they do best when they are allowed to move around a bit more, or hold a stress ball, and especially helpful is meeting their need to move from one task to another more often. ... This review of Daniel is long overdue. What impressed me the most is how Daniel researched my camera functions. He is great if you are new to photography, not a camera wiz, and want someone to help break the ice. I only had one session with Daniel, but it accomplished what I hoped.
