My Tutor is patient but persistent. She seeks to develop a solid understanding of each math element before moving on to the next. She is direct but helpful. She certainly has been helpful to me to grasp concepts that I failed to master while in school........GB

"Experienced tutor for 30+ yrs and still making it easy!"
I have 5 children. Three of those five were diagnosed with various serious medical issues. As such, I chose to home-school two of them and allow the third to remain in school. Two of those children, along with their other ailments, had severe ADHD. One also had a spatial deficit which means his hand to eye coordination was very strained, at best. Additionally, I worked with many ADHD/Special Ed teachers and counselors, via the school system. I developed dozens of programs that not only helped my children, but the students in the various schools, too. ... More

Tomoko is very patient, very nice, easy to talk to. She is also very informative. She makes sure I understand before moving on to the next exercise. If I pronounce something wrong she helps me learn how to say that word or sound. I understand everything she talks about. Some teachers can be confusing and explain things oddly, but Tomoko explains everything simply. She is always on time, she has a good meet up location as well. I'm happy with her!! I highly recommend her!!
