Perfect for a high end student. He is great at helping think through concepts and relating them to real world and would be perfect for taking a high end student to the next level. Not a good fit for a younger student who is struggling with doing day to day work as he tends to digress into the larger concepts.

I have loved to teach from a very early age. I especially enjoy the process of learning, particularly when my students finally get a concept. Prior to teaching full-time, I spent many years in industry, mentoring junior staff.
My teaching philosophy is that learning is a two-way dialog. I also do not consider myself to a total expert in a field and at times will learn alongside my students. This is exciting and results in a nice dynamic of learning.

Sandra is a great tutor. She works very well with my 14 year old son. I am starting to see his grade increase.

Stephanie is very knowledgeable in Excel, Access, and other databases and is able to explain the materials with simplicity. She is very patient and has a knack for teaching individuals who want to become proficient in learning these programs. I am pleased with her services.

Today, and as in previous lessons, Elizabeth has proven that her tutoring method works. She listens what the student needs, understands the problems that student has, and then presents or suggests a method that the student can use to learn how to resolve the problem. It is like a personal method just design for that student. It is great!
