Andrew (AJ) is amazing. I work at a university in Los Angeles and needed a tutor to help my son with his English writing. We tried a few tutors in the university English dept but they weren't very skilled at getting across the material. So I went searching for another tutor and found Andrew. Andrew is so incredibly knowledgeable and in tune with the need of the individual. My son had read The Great Gatsby for his high school English class and hated it. My son has ADD, so it is sometimes challenging for him to sit and read for long stretches. After Andrew walked him through the book and explained the content and helped him structure his paper for the class, my son said he loved the book and Andrew for clearly and patiently helping him understand and organize and write his essay. They talked about colleges and the essay that he would need to write for his college applications. I can't say enough about Andrew and how he will in one session be able to change the outlook a student has. I've worked at a university for 10 years and I haven't seen any other tutors with such a mastery at helping those who can't quite grasp and understand English writing. You can tell that Andrew truly loves what he does and enjoys working with students to help them understand the material. I can't recommend him enough.

Dave is the most professional, patient and thorough tutor, going the extra mile to complete a day's lesson or to ensure the concept is understood. We have been using Dave for almost a year, first for Geometry and now for Algebra II. I cannot begin to express what a gem he has been.

I learned a lot in just one lesson so far. Belia was very helpful and had the lesson organized. We started with a Pre-Assessment Exercise by doing one oral evaluation going from a beginner level to an advanced one. Then we started using a book by covering the following: 1- nouns 2- articles 3- adjectives I look forward to learning more in the next lesson.
