For the past few weeks, Heyam has helped me study for the mathematics section of the Praxis Exam for my teaching certification. The exam involes number operations, algebraic thinking, geometry, measurement, data, and interpretation. Heyam arrived prepared to every tutoring session and provided different strategies to approach math problems. Heyam put her biggest effort in making sure I understood each math problem completely, not just how to get the answer but really understanding the concepts. Joseph is an excellent tutor. He is extremely helpful and very thorough. He helped me understand integration twice as well as my college professor. He showed me a different way to solve Integration by substitution which was a lot easier than the way I was taught. Joseph has provided me with a better understanding of Calculus and has given me the confidence to move onto Calculus II. I would highly recommend him as a tutor.
