Frank covered a great deal of Physics problems with my daughter, and helped her to better understand the information. They worked for 2 hrs and she felt more confident in the subject.

"Knowledgeable UVA grad for Math, Science, and Government Tutoring"
My educational background is extensive. I attended the University of Delaware, where I earned three majors (physics, computer science, and cognitive science) and three minors (philosophy, mathematics, and political science). I later earned a law degree from the University of Virginia. In other words, I have spent far too many years of my life in school.
In addition to school, I've worked in multiple fields, as a computer programmer and a First Amendment lawyer. But what days I enjoy most ar... ... More

Alex was fabulous. After completing my MBA 15 years ago, I decided to pursue a PhD in Business Management. I needed to rewrite the GMAT (17 years since I last wrote it!). I had forgotten far more than I remembered. After a couple of frustrating months of trying to teach myself, I started working with Alex. He was so much help. I wrote the GMAT and got a GREAT score! Thank you Alex.

"4.0 GPA and Math Competition Winner"
I have a passion for Math. I have been teaching and tutoring part time for the last 25 years. While in college, I was on the Putnam Intercollegiate Math Competition team for 3 consecutive years, and won several math competitions. I had a 4.0 GPA in math as an undergraduate (graduating with more than twice the number of required credit hours in math). I also obtained a perfect score in Computer Science (20 out of 20) while a student at the University Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France. I en... ... More

Matt helped me in the ACT math and science areas. He was really patient with me, helped me review several concepts on the test, and helped me with my test taking strategies. Matt also was very knowledgeable in the math and science sections. Most of our sessions were for the ACT, but once we went over my calculus summer review assignment and he was very knowledgeable in that area of math as well. My test is Saturday and I am confident that my scores will be higher on those sections. Also, if there were problems that we didn't get to finish going over because of time, he would figure them and email me the answers later. Matt is also really easy to get in contact with; he responds to emails very fast. I also had a complicated schedule when we were meeting and so he was flexible about when to meet with me.

One of my primary jobs at the MITRE Corporation (my day job) is economic cost–benefit analysis. As such, I have studied and practiced many concepts from microeconomics for years. Also, I have taught many people—both students and professionals—the theory and proper application of microeconomics. ... More
