Nick was great. My daughter Lilly felt very comfortable with him. she learned a ton and now feels much more prepared for tomorrow's test! They did a surprise double session. She was learning... she needed the help, and they just kept going. We are off to a great start and we will definitely be calling on Nick again soon!

"Literature, Math, and the French language"
I have completed masters coursework in the Logic, Philosophy, History, and Sociology of the Sciences at Paris-VII and ENS Ulm, which required (of course) significant work in formal logic. I also spent two semesters in the history of modern logic with Dr. Sanford Shieh at Wesleyan University. My work in mathematics, especially the theory of categories, has also prepared me to tutor high-level students in logic. ... More
I have been working with the Rosetta Stone program for many months. I found it to be site memorization and not understanding of the Russian language. After just 3 sessions with Natalie I can read Russian with the understanding of the full and correct pronunciation of the words. Natalie is a wonderful tutor and is so patient with my learning process. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to learn Russian.

I'm an Italian-American from Yonkers, New York who has had many years of experience in dealing with native Italians who for one reason or another found themselves situated either permanently or temporarily in the New York city region. My experience with them even includes an entire summer in 1981 working as an intern at the Italian Trade Commission on Park Ave in NYC. My experience with this tutor has decisively shown me that this is a flawless individual in her capacity as an Italian translator. Her most notable asset is her initiative, as she translated for me a two page document riddled with American idiomatic expressions in less than three days. On the fourth day, Lisa personally came to my house to assist me in putting the finishing touches on the final draft. Let me be clear here, no Italian in the NYC region with the established translator skills of a Lisa would have rendered in such a short period of time what she produced for me in terms of the quality of the translation or the personal attention she afforded me. For all you out there looking for an awesome Italian translator with reasonable prices, now you know where to go.

I have been working with ADD/ADHD/Autistic kids and adults for many years. Many are teenagers with attention issues, and hyper-activity, which prevents them from focusing for longer periods of time.
I am very patient and find ways to engage them to learn, at their own pace.
I am working with several Autistic children, ADD Adults, dyslexic adults and teenagers, and ADHD children. ... More
Aaron worked with our son for several months on computer programming. He was consistent, easy to reach, and always had a plan of what to work on with him. It worked well for us and gave our son a boost in an area where he wanted extra instruction.

"Elementary School Tutor 1-5 - Spanish Teacher"
Hi, I love to see kids succeed and advance in their studies. Having them feel good about their accomplishments as well as moving forward is important. I've been working in the field of education since 2004. With an MA in education in grades 1-6, New York State Certification and the ability to teach Spanish I've enjoyed developing reading skills, practicing math skills, introducing new material in both and teaching Spanish from pre-k to adults!... ...
