Hi, Zachary has been working with my 13-year-old for several months now, and the lessons seem to go very well. As my son says, "Zach is patient when explaining things, and if you don't understand the first time, he'll think of another way to explain the concept." He makes sure that my son stays "on-task" but gives him breaks appropriately since they do a long lesson. Zach has helped in all of my son's subjects, which is a real plus for us since all need work at different times. We look forward to working with Zach for the rest of the year and maybe the summer too.
My daughter Pooja was struggling with Algebra I. She usually rushes or skips the steps. George very patiently teaches her the concepts and makes sure follows all the steps to achieve the final results. I see a lot of improvement in Pooja. Thanks George.
I could not even begin to say enough good things about Kevin's tutoring skills - he is absolutely fantastic! He tutored my son for 2 semesters of organic chemistry and put together a tutorial for the MCAT. Never having used a tutor before, my son was hesitant to start, but immediately felt a connection with and found confidence in Kevin. Kevin was totally reliable, accessible, organized and patient. He is obviously so brilliant that he is able to take even the most complicated concepts and calmly break them down with reasonable explanations. Any time my son was feeling stress with his work, a session with Kevin would quickly alleviate his anxiety and give him the confidence to move forward. Beyond his intellectual skills, Kevin is a very kind, polite and approachable person. He relates extremely well with this age group. From a practical standpoint, Kevin was very flexible and accommodating - always willing to travel at times and to places which were convenient for my son's schedule. I cannot imagine a more wonderful science tutor than Kevin.
