Angela was very helpful in getting me to speak Italian and as we spoke, I began to feel more comfortable in speaking. Since the beginning we began to talk about topics such as the diff. of America and Italy, the cultures, jobs, school etc. She is helpful in teaching new words and encourages the student to speak more.
Today I have had yet another lesson with Angela and I feel very comfortable when I speak with her. I do not feel shy nor scared. She has been very helpful in getting me to speak Italian and to build my confidence. She is a sweet lady

As a Special Education/ Inclusion Specialist, my focus was on how to make math and science more interesting to learn, and how to inspire my students to "read". I devoted ten years to learning and mastering both the "Common Core and Standardized Curriculum". Aside my teaching... ... More
I had Sharon help me with my Thesis for my Masters Program and currently with my Resume. She was extremely helpful and revised both papers as if they were her own.

ADD/ADHD is becoming more and more common every day, with a lack of focus, scattered thinking, and often impatience as its manifestations, leading to a lack of depth and substance. Having taught a diverse mix of students in Los Angeles Unified School over the years, I have seen quite a number of ADD/ADHD students in my "normal" classroom. Blessed with my own ability to focus, patience, and intuition combined with my well rounded, upbeat personality and my own varied teaching methods and materials to capture and maintain the children's/students' interest, I have enjoyed much success in teaching ... "Terrific Math & Science Tutoring and More!"

A close second is my ability to take abstract concepts and make them much more understandable. I don’t do “tricks†since it takes as much effort to memorize tons of tricks as it does to actually learn the stuff (though I do have plenty of ideas on how to do things more easily). What I do do is teach solid theory, techniques, and study skills as simply and directl... ... More
