Hi, I was a computer consultant for 20 years before becoming a teacher. When my daughter started school, she struggled to learn to read. Her teachers also struggled to find out how to help her. I love teaching. I have been teaching students of all levels (from elementary through college) for 15 years. I especially enjoy helping students achieve their goals. It means a lot to me when a student who used to struggle with a subject suddenly has a break through and understands the information. My credentials for this subject are pretty straightforward. I worked in a children's museum as a teenager, giving tours to classes between preschool and second grade. In college I worked as a community tutor, helping students from the local elementary school to do their homework. These students often had learning disabilities. I love working with children, and I try to take a patient, inquisitive approach to teaching. I'm an English major in my junior year at Wittenberg, working towards a teaching license by graduation. I've worked a variety of jobs from the Bellefontaine, New Carlisle, Springfield and St. Paris areas.
