"Computer Science Student"

I was previously the Computer Science club president in my High School, and I love teaching students who are willing and capable of learning. I spend my time making Android apps and building my portfolio of different projects while I continue my college education. I love to learn code and help other people do the same. I am studying at Rutgers-New Brunswick as a Computer Science student. I have spent over two years doing a mix of app and web development with proficiency in Java. I have rece... ... More

I have a Master's from UC Berkeley and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon. I have been teaching computer science at the high school level for about 14 years now, including a couple of stints as an adjunct at Brookdale and Monmouth. Before that I was a professional programmer for over 20 years, mostly in Java and C. I think that computers are incredibly interesting, and I really enjoy helping people understand how they work, and how to make them do what you want.... ... More

Monica is very patient and very smart in the subjects she tutors. She goes out of the way to make sure a student understands before going to another topic. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with essays and literature.
Christina was of course very knowledgeable, explained the material which in this case was pre-calculus to my son. From this his first lesson we made arrangements to continue with her. We're very pleased and highly recommend her. 01/19/2013 A lot of stuff covered today, but she took the time to notice that my son was not grasping some algebra material that he should've known. So she gave him a refresher and it worked. That's a sign of a good tutor. Thanks Christina, test on Tuesday. We'll see how he does. See you next Saturday !!! 01/26/2013
I really enjoyed being tutored by Enos. Though I had a good grasp on the basic principles of the mathematics on the GMAT I needed help applying the concepts to actual questions. He has done a great job at giving me a better understanding and more tools to use when I retake the GMAT.
