Thomas is an extremely personable and knowledgeable chemistry tutor and my son liked him immediately. He was able to help my son to understand some concepts that pulled him up to speed with the course from early on. I highly recommend him!

"Science and Math Tutoring from Middle School to PhD Programs"

A B.S. in materials science from MIT, graduate electrochemistry research at Boston University, and international consulting (certified E.I.T.) put me in a unique position to teach physics and chemistry for a student of any skill level. I don't intend to just show my students material, I intend to teach them the fundamentals of the lesson and how to study on their own. As a result, they gain a fuller understanding of the material at hand while learning how to study on their own. I've been tu... ... More

"Physics Tutor- High School Physics Teacher- TCNJ Grad"

Hello I am a High School Physics teacher and 2014 physics graduate of The College of New Jersey. For many students physics can be a confusing and challenging subject. Joe was very helpful to my two daughters taking their first online class in geometry. He was very familiar with the material, very patient and made the content connections when it was previously unclear. My daughters had tried to get help from other tutors (friends of theirs who are also tutors), but they didn't provide the same level of clarity. I would highly recommend Joe for your tutoring needs.

"An Investment In Your Child's Future - Math & Science Tutor"

I began tutoring in math and science as a sophomore in college and instantly fell in love with the experience. During this time, I've tutored over 60 students in the Stockton and Sacramento area, ranging from as young as 4 years old to as old as 55 years of age. I can truly say that I enjoy working with kids as well as adults. My tutoring approach can vary depending on the student’s needs, personality and learning style. However, my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to thi... ... More

"Need help for math and/or physics?"

I have a MSc in Physics and my research experience is in astrophysics. Spanish is my native language. I started tutoring since I was in third year in college, my dad (who's also a physicist) worked as a teacher for 40 years so I guess I inherited his passion for teaching. The first student I had, a middle school student, who used to fail math every year, and then his mom contacted me and we started working together, by the end of the year he was one of the best students of his class and now h... ... "Licensed teacher looking to help students in math and science. "

Hello! I am a licensed teacher in chemistry and physics. I also love math and would love to tutor anyone needing help in these areas. I am a substitute teacher right now in many school districts around Rochester, so I have a lot of experience working with students. I received my bachelors of applied science from University of Minnesota, Duluth in 2016. I have always excelled in math. I completed math subjects all the way through calculus 2. I learn quickly, so if it happens to be a topic ... ... More

"An electrical engineering graduate with a strong math background"

My name is Charles W. and I graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in mathematics. My tutoring experience includes informal experience gained throughout the years, as I have often found myself in a position in which I had the opportunity to serve as a tutor to my peers, and formal experience gained through tutoring for the Texas A&M Department of Multicultural Services. This combined experience has, over the years, c... ... More

I like his way for teaching. For example, he uses mind maps which is a really advanced way for memorizing. I highly recommend him. Good luck!
We are very pleased with our tutoring. Nilay is a great communicator and responds to emails almost immediately. He has helped my son become very confidant in Physics and my son now has an A. Highly recommended.
Our experience with Heather was absolutely awesome. We were new to the process, she was warm & inviting. Prior to our first tutor session, She took her own personal time to ask for example material in advance in which our daughter was struggling with. She was completely up to speed on the first session of tutoring. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed. Our daughter felt as though just one session was so helpful. Highly endorsed!
Thomas was on time for both tutor sessions and communicated with me in a professional manner. He tutored my daughter prepare for an entrance exam. She says he helped her gain confidence with writing essays and narratives on her own more than any other tutor has in the past. She was so impressed that she asked for one more tutor sessions with him. We definitely recommend TJ (as he prefers to be called) to any parent looking for an English tutor.
