I found Joe to be an excellent tutor, timely, reliable and patient. He put an emphasis on learning the material not just going through the motions. The best quality that stands out to me about Joe was is eagerness to help me solve my accounting problem(s), he wasn't going to quit until we had found an answer. Joe is your guy regardless of your accounting course level, or even if you're just trying to learn for you personal interest or small business. He helped my with Graduate level accounting for my MBA with ease, I doubt there's an accounting issue he can't fix.

Xavier is a very professional tutor who has a lot of patience and knowledge to give. His teaching methods are very understandable and he does not use difficult language to explain the information. I received tutoring in one of the hardest subjects, physics, and I passed physics one and two with an A. He is very easy to reach by phone or email and always tries to make himself available. I reached out to him recently for help on Calculus because I know he can help explain the material.

"Excellent Math and Science Tutor"
My teaching philosophy is very simple: teach students how to teach themselves. By teaching students the art of self-learning, their confidence in their learning ability will improve while they develop and enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills. These skills are important, because they are applicable in any endeavor, such as being a doctor, engineer, attorney, or an entrepreneur.
My teaching style is also very simple: teach to be taug... ... More

The United States has a rich history that is growing by the day. We managed to assimilate many cultural values and traditions to form our version of democracy. There is nothing hard about this subject...just a desire to learn important events...the rewards and consequences of decisions in our country. I look forward to sitting back and enjoying a good conversation about our storied past. ... More
Outstanding tutor, very easy to reach and to set up tutoring sessions. My daughter has benefited immensely from the one on one attention. I would have to say that to date one of the best tutoring experiences. The tutoring has gone so well that my daughter is back on track and does not need the extra help anymore.

"Estelena "Lena" - Experienced Tutor and Teacher"
As a junior high English/Language Arts and Social Studies teacher, I taught students in both Honors and regular classes. Many of these students had been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, and working with the parents and students, we developed learning strategies that were effective. As a counselor, both middle school and high school, ADD/ADHD issues were slowly being recognized as certifiable educational special need; through specialized workshops and professional development inservice, one of my major concentrations was in developing individualized planning with students who had ADD/ ... As the school year comes to an end I look back and realize what an impact Hilary has had on my daughter's math this year. Her teacher and I talked about what a difference we see in my daughter's attitude about math. I have definitely seen a return on this investment. And not only is Hilary interested in supporting her in math but she showed support and interest in other school activities and sports. I look forward to starting our middle school career with Hilary. I have already put her on notice that she will be needed for math and this semester of Chinese (which Hilary speaks fluently)that I know nothing about.
What a beautiful young lady inside and out and we were blessed to know her and call her our friend!
