Ahmed is a very kind and patient teacher. His tutoring style for beginning English speakers emphasizes pronunciation and vocabulary. He also concentrates on verbal communication. During each lesson, Ahmed has his students talk about daily activities as a way of encouraging them to speak in English.
Ahmed also does not allow his students to fall back on their native language during lessons, forcing students to figure out a way of getting their point across in English. I would highly recommend him as a tutor for anyone trying to learn and master the English language.

I was very impressed by William, in our initial email conversation he gave me an honest assessment of the time needed and what we needed to accomplish in that time.
During the tutoring session, he was focused, explained everything to me in detail, and I really feel like I got my money's worth and more out of my session with him.

Dorothy was very punctual, and actually showed up 15 minutes early for the tutoring lesson. She was very patient, communicated well, was professional, and her expertise on the chemistry subject material was very impressive. Also, her schedule was flexible regarding setting up the tutoring lesson. I would definitely recommend her if you are considering a tutor for your child.

"Mrs G the chemistry or physics tutor"
I am an experienced high school teacher that has spent her entire educational career in one place. And I love it.
Teaching is a second career for me. I came to teaching in 1999, specifically to teach chemistry and physics because I had a wonderful high school teacher who not only taught me chemistry, but also encouraged me to think for myself. He encouraged a girl in the early 1980s to study science, which was still a relatively rare occurrence. I just want to give back a little of what he ... ... More
I strongly recommend Ken for photography tutoring. Ken tailored his session to my questions and points of interest. This allowed me to get all of my questions answered and maximize the value of the session. I found the session to be a great balance between instruction of the fundamentals of photography and practical tips on enhancing photographic skill. We will use Ken's services again.

My former students were as young as 6th and 7th graders who were admitted to specialized high schools (Stuyvesant, Bronx Science) to high school st... ... More
