I taught grades 5-12 for thirty-two years. During those years, my primary focus was to make the subject matter as clear as possible for my students. Whether the subject was math, history, science or instrumental lessons, the students needed to see a logical, clear progression that led them from where they were to where they needed to be. My greatest reward was seeing their faces coming alive with understanding!
