Figured out immediately what the problem was and got down to work . Buy the end of the session my son was energized and confident that he would improve his writing with Natasha's help. She even figured out a problem he had that we hadn't noticed and gave Randy a tool to help him out. I feel like we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

"English Language Help for ALL!"
Hi!
I am a graduate of Syracuse University with a BA in English. I have always had a passion for reading and writing and believe it or not, spelling! My love of words and the English language has led me to not only have a well developed lexicon but also the honor of being a two timed published poet.
I understand many students may have trouble reading and comprehending certain text. Spelling, grammar and pronunciation can also prevent understanding when studying English. I'm here to help! I... ... More

"ND grad for elementary/middle school and English/Spanish tutoring"
Hi, I'm Andrea! I recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. I am profoundly grateful for my education not only because of the material knowledge that I've gained, but also because of everything I've learned about the value of inspiring others through teaching. To me, learning is about much more than memorization and good grades--it's about realizing all that your brain is capable of understanding and the power you have to chang... ... More

"Certified ELA Teacher & Literacy Coach"
My name is Paulina and I have been successfully teaching middle school ELA for the past five years. Many years ago when I made the choice to pursue teaching, I had a very specific vision- "I want to create a world where students love to read and where students feel equipped with the skills and strategies they need to be powerful and independent members of society." Five years later, I can wholeheartedly say that this vision not only became my reality but became a focus that drives me each a... ... More

"Tutor specializing in Classics: Latin, ancient Greek, and Writing"
I first began learning ancient Greek in 2008 at St. John's College in MD. I was very excited by ancient Greek, because it was such a cool language structurally, and gave a special kind of insight into the great works of classical Greece. Two years later I transferred to Hunter College where I continued to study Greek and began to study Latin. Latin became a fun follow up to learning Greek. Since I received my BA in Greek and Latin from Hunter College, I've gone on to enroll in the PhD program... ... More

Mr. P. is a great Math tutor. Willing to coordinate a tutoring session with my son. He will break everything down to the T so you can understand each part of the lesson and takes his time and doesn't rush through the lesson. I would recommend to anyone looking for a tutor.

My both sons have English classes with Karin over 1 year. She is a very patient and caring person. My older son used to have some difficulty for writing, but now he is more confident and knows what he wants to write. The younger one has more creative mind, but he does not know much vocabulary, so he always wrote very short sentences. But now, he knows a lot of words and is able to write a longer paragraph. We are so lucky to find Karin and really like to express our appreciation to Karin for being a great English teacher to both our sons.
Thank you so much, Karin.

We met with Ms. Valerie for the first time yesterday. She was absolutely wonderful and I look forward to the sessions yet to come. My son was very comfortable around her and she already has some great ideas and techniques regarding his reading comprehension and study skills.
