"Effective Lit & Comp Teacher, AP/SAT/ACT Test Prep, Essay Proofs"
As an educator of 15 years, I believe strongly in the power of knowledge and education, and I seek to instill in my students the same ardor and desire to learn more as they progress through their lives. I became a teacher because I love observing the "Ah ha" moments with students when they learn to analyze, process, and comment on thoughts and information they take away from literary texts such as poetry, short stories, and novels or works of philosophy and literary theory and criticism.

Gail K. came to our house having literally done her homework. She brought materials that greatly helped me with my project. Gail listened to exactly what I asked of her during our email and phone conversations. She was a wonderful help during our session. Gail is also a very nice person who is willing to help you around the student's schedule, not hers. I would definitely use Gail again as a tutor and recommend her to my friends.

Norb does a great job with my son. Preparation wise he's the best- he reserves the room, obtains the library copy of the textbook, and prepares ahead of time based on the papers I scan and send or which he finds online from the school. Teaching wise he honed in on my son's habits right away and patiently mentors him and according to my son explains things very thoroughly. He even taught a class in how he applies math in his work (Structural Engineering) with real world examples and stories. I think this sort of example carries a lot more weight coming from someone outside the family who has lived the subject. We definitely recommend Norb!

My two boys look forward to piano, and much of that is due to Katie. She is patient and relaxed, and seems to truly enjoy teaching. She informs the parents of lesson plans and what steps to practice, and seems very knowledgeable about the process. I would recommend Katie to anyone, especially to those with children.

Arline is terrific in helping organize and teach the LPN course requirements. My daughter is now getting A's since Arlene's help. We are very happy with her in every way.
