"All levels of Math + Stats, Excel, SAT, & more!"

Hi! I'm Lumin. I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a double minor in Statistics and Actuarial Preparation. After graduation, I worked in a variety of Silicon Valley jobs at Google, Kaiser Permanente, and GoPro. My job experience turned me into a master of Excel and spreadsheets, as well as giving me the understanding of what skills learned in school become practical in the workplace. Outside of the working world, I genuinely love math... ... More

Chris was a big help when it came to helping me prep for my college algebra final. He was very thorough, instantly knew what I was having trouble with, and gave me problems to help me solidify the material. He was incredibly patient and made sure that I understood what was being taught. I highly recommend him!

Through Omair's tutoring that he provided me in my Arabic language studies, I've been able to pick up on the language much faster than other services and programs I've used in the past. I would highly recommend him to anybody that wants to learn Arabic!

"The Tools of My Trade: Chemistry, Math, English, Arabic, Spanish & Art"

Education is my passion. I naturally love to learn, challenge myself, and help others do the same. I earned a B.A. in Psychology then began teaching Middle School English. You would think this career choice and degree were unrelated, but it's actually all that kept the middle schoolers from driving me crazy! While teaching, I earned a B.S. in the Biological Sciences and earned a biotechnology certificate afterwards. During this period, I also kept up a healthy volunteer pastime teaching a w... ... More

Kelsey was amazingly accommodating, thorough, and very patient. Because my son has an auditory processing disability, he requires more detailed explanations, as well as a tutor who has the capability of adapting to her student's needs. It's quite apparent that Kelsey has a passion for what she does. She gave my son the respect, patience, and confidence that he needed to succeed on his test. Thank you, Kelsey! We look forward to working with you in the future.

"Specialized Tutor in Liberal Arts, Writing & Study Skills"

My passion for working with others in order to help them succeed comes from a long history in both school and work environments. Every job I have had has included working directly with people. My ability to communicate effectively with others, and to ensure that the others' experience is both positive and memorable, is the essence of what makes my work invaluable. I have a Bachelor's degree in both History and Psychology from Grinnell College (ranked top 20 in the nation), Master's degree in... ... More

Oscar is a very good tutor! He responded quickly to my email and met with me the next day. He was very patient; he explained step by step each assignment, and gave some samples to resolve with his help. I would definitely use Oscar again. Thanks!

My daughter's grades have been slipping over the past few weeks and I had thought perhaps she was missing some basic concepts. In one hour Anne determined that she had a good understanding of all of the concepts and just had a problem with working too fast and making careless mistakes. (One of those suggestions that's better received from a tutor than from Mom & Dad!)
Alix is helping my daughter with math. She is awesome. I hit the wrong amount of stars. She is an A. My daughter confidence is growing!!
