"English Reading Expert/ Professional Tutoring Experience"
Dear Students,
My name is Rachel, and I graduated with a BA in English from University of Oregon. There, I also studied Comparative Literature. While I have an inherit love of English, I also realize that this doesn't come naturally to everyone. Thinking back on my time in school it was teachers who were most excited and made the material approachable who were able to impart the most knowledge. This is the type of experience I bring to the table when working with students. I'll bring excit... ... More

I love working with Edith! She is well-skilled as a teacher, has a warm and encouraging manner, and clearly loves her work. Edith explaining helpful strategies to use when taking the Nova Terra test. She reviewed concepts first and then went through multiple sample questions from the actual Terra Nova test and, one by one, helped my daughter to understand each question. I will definitely recommend Edith to my friends and family. She really boosted my confidence and joy to work with and I would definitely recommend her.

I was really struggling with my college level math courses, when my parents suggested I get a tutor. Leena was great at figuring out exactly what I struggled with. She taught me new things while also reviewing the basics of each concept. She taught me how to teach myself, and she showed me how to find a curiosity for Math rather than a fear. I would definitely recommend this tutor to anyone who things Math is an impossibility.
