I wanted to wait a bit before I wrote a review. My daughter has been seeing Anne Marie for a few weeks now. She is patient and she explains the material in ways where my daughter understands. I can see her confidence growing. Even though she has a ways to go, I already see a difference. I initially only wanted to hire a tutor to prepare my daughter for the ELA and Math exams, however seeing the change in my daughter, I would like Anne Marie to tutor my daughter long term, even over the summer. Mr. Ralph is great at explaining every problem thoroughly. Every issue I run into he is able to fully explain how and even provide me with example problems to help further my understanding of the subject.

Stacey possesses an exceptional ability to connect with my 14 year old. With a firm, but friendly demeanor, Stacey is quite effective in presenting both simple and complex concepts. Sheâ€™s worked patiently with my child to help her gain better command of literary analysis and interpretation in essay writing. She is consistently patient and encouraging, which has helped develop my daughterâ€™s self-esteem and confidence in her ability to handle the subject matter.

Our daughter, who was enrolled in college more than 3 hours away from our home and recovering from knee surgery, was struggling in organic chemistry. We located Carol on WyzAnt and made contact with her. She responded quickly and informed us that not only was she available, but that she could also arrange to tutor our daughter the next day on her campus. Our anxiety quickly turned to relief since our daughter was on crutches, unable to drive, yet desperately in need of a tutor. Carol broke down the material in a manner that worked for our daughter, and her approach gave our daughter renewed confidence. Throughout the final weeks of the semester, Carol met with our daughter as needed and ensured that she understood the material and that she was well prepared for her finals. With Carol's assistance, our daughter was able to substantially improve her understanding of organic chemistry and her grade! Our only regret is that we did not find Carol earlier in the semester.
