"Passionate and Engaging English Tutor"
I am a university instructor and poet with nearly 10 years of teaching experience and 15 years of writing experience. I am very energetic and friendly, and I believe that it's absolutely possible to learn and have fun at the same time. My focus is on teaching a student valuable, memorable lessons on the subject at hand that will also be applicable to future study. I think it's also important, in any subject but especially the humanities, to learn how to think critically, synthesize ideas, ... ... More

Heather did something with Lisa that I didn't think could be done. Not only did she help her learn and understand a math class that I didn't think she was capable of handling, but she will likely get a B grade or better. I thought even with a good tutor that she still would not be able to pass this course. And although it is a very difficult thing (for me at least) to pay $50 an hour, it was WELL worth the cost. Not only was she an excellent tutor, but also worked with a very flexible schedule to accommodate Lisa. I am extremely happy with what Heather did and would recommend her to anyone. Job extremely well done. Thank you very, very much.

James (Jim) is a fantastic tutor. He is genuinely interested in the success of his students. He spends time making sure he is prepared for what is happening in class each week. He isn't just looking to make money. If he doesn't think he can help you he will tell you. He is very flexible and goes above and beyond to make sure you succeed. I don't think I have ever encountered a tutor that is better prepared and clearly invested in the success of his students.
