After relocating from another state to a new school district and curriculum, my 9 year old fell behind in instructional time. I searched for a tutor to assist her in coming up to speed with math, science, and social studies. Mark is extremely patient and personable and instantly made my daughter feel comfortable and open to asking questions. He adapts to her learning style. Mark has been very flexible and has gone out of his way to purchase materials and collaborate with her teacher to best assist her. We work with Mark 4x/week, I highly recommend his tutoring services.

"Elementary subjects K-6, English, Writing and Speech all ages"

I have two sons who are both in their twenties and I taught them how to read, spell and use proper grammar. I also taught them ways to simplify and understand their math and helped with most of the homework they were given throughout their school years. I have worked in positions where I have assisted in putting educational catalogs together, proofreading and choosing the wording for many of the sections. I have been consulted many times for advice or help with wording, as well as math probl... ... More

My six year old daughter has trouble with math - in fact, doing math creates anxiety for her (and me, when I helped her with it). Enter Bryce, who has an amazing capacity for patience and effectively teaches fundamental concepts in a positive, fun way. One time when he left she declared "I love math!" Will she feel this way every day? Probably not. But she looks forward to meeting with her "math buddy" and I am thankful for the impact these sessions will have for years to come.

I was happy to have Dottie as a tutor. She helped me review some writings that I had and let me know what I didn't explain well and how I could fix them to make them more understandable. I was very lucky and fortunate to have her as a tutor, we didn't move onto the next question till she made sure I knew how to fix the grammar problems and that I knew why the reason for the fixes, something that was never really done with me in school and I wish I had and very happy that Dottie took the time to do that for me. I will definitely keep her in my books when I need more help with my writings and grammar fixes!!

"Patient tutor K-12 & College, English, Writing, Reading"

I have previous tutor experience in k-6th grades. I have tutored students at these grade levels in various subjects, including reading, writing, math and literature. I also have been a substitute teacher for 7 years in two school districts. Substitute teaching requires knowledge of various subjects including math/reading/writing and many others, depending on who I am filing in for that day. As a substitute I have to be knowledgeable in all fields, especially that of primary school education. I am proficient in the subjects of math, science and reading/English. For example, A day sub teaching ... More

With Marc's help, I was able to get an A in Chem2 and Calc2 at Boston University, after having gotten C's in the first semester courses without his help. He really knows his stuff and has a ridiculous amount of experience tutoring for specific math/science syllabi. On occasion its helpful to let him know what material you need help with beforehand so he can review and be prepared. Great guy and a highly recommended tutor.
Excellent tutor! Richard is the Strategic Management subject matter expert. It's like having a casual chat with your best bud while enjoying a cup of java at the same time. Brainstorming sessions but learning will occur.
Gerjuan is awesome and highly recommended. She worked with my wife and I to better understand Apple products and was very good at walking us through the differences between PC and Apple.
I never needed a tutor in my life, but in the rare moment that I needed one Christine was more helpful than I could have ever asked or imagined! I encourage anyone that needs tutoring for any of the subject or disciplines that she helps with to consider her before any other tutors. You won't regret your decision!
