Michael tutored me through calc I & II. He was very patient, spending whatever time was needed to make sure I understood the material and could complete the assignments. He explained difficult concepts clearly. He also took the time to email with me on questions when I was out of town. I highly recommend Michael as a math tutor.

"Math & statistics instructor at your service!"
I've taught a variety of math and statistics classes at Drake, DMACC and other colleges. There's no substitute for hard work, but sometimes additional instruction in a private setting can make all the difference!
I provide helpful math tutoring for West Des Moines and vicinity and prefer to meet at the WDM library, although other locations are possible. Topics I have tutored include: High School A.P. Statistics or College Statistics (a.k.a. "Business Analytics" in MBA programs) Algebra & P... ... More

"Passionate and Patient Mathematics Tutor"
Hi! I'm Travis, and I'm currently an undergraduate at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. I plan on majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Music (I play clarinet). I come from an very small town in the eastern part of the state of Washington.
I'm really into mathematics, but that's probably clear from my choice of major. In high school, I took AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics and earned a perfect score on both exams; I scored a 35 on the ACT Math section and a perfect 800 on the Mat... ... More

Richard has been tutoring my son, 10th grader, for about three months now. Richard comes prepared, brings teaching materials with him and shows up in time. He teaches by showing examples and asking questions to my son. This helps my son a lot to get handle on concepts, understand theories and find a way to solve problems. In addition to focusing on lessons taught in school, Richard teaches overall subject, and as well goes beyond what is required for grade level. Most important, my son is more comfortable with Chemistry lessons now and his scores have started improving. I strongly recommend Richard as a Chemistry tutor, and keep up the good work Richard!!

I am in a unique situation as I too am a science teacher and met with Susan not so much to teach me science as to teach me teaching skills. I can assure you that if a student truly wanted to learn biology they would after spending some time with Susan B. I hope someday to be a teacher like Susan B. Need I say more?

Bruce is a great tutor, he took me from a C to an A. He is very flexible, he was willing to arrange his schedule for my success. He never missed an appointment. He really knows his stuff and I am lucky to have found him as a tutor. PS. He loves Dirk Nowinski and the Mavs!

We found the tutor very easy to work with. She was very easy to understand, and made learning with her a pleasure. She listened to what my daughter wanted.

Jaime was very helpful and I felt very comfortable working her. She is very knowledgeable, but is able to explain things in a way that are easy to understand and remember. I would definitely recommend her!
