I was very glad we found Joseph as a tutor! He was able to help my son salvage his "D" in AP Calculus when we were close to giving up. He helped my son learn enough to bring his grade to a "B" by then end of the first semester and to maintain that grade through the second semester as well. We found Joseph is youthful enough to effectively communicate with a teen, and able to present the information in a way that made more sense to my son. He also helped my son re-examine his own study habits and provide us with helpful tips and resources. He encouraged my son to do his best and continue to try when there seemed to be very little hope, and was flexible around some of our scheduling challenges. My son's thoughts about Joseph include: He was patient with my shortcomings, was able to look ahead in terms of progress, worked well with teens, has a lot of experience, and can look at problems in a new way/ flexible. We would highly recommend Joseph as a tutor.

Arlene was amazing. Really helped me understand what I was doing wrong rather than just fixing my essay. She is knowledgeable and helpful, right to the point, showing me other avenues to make corrections. With every session, based on her advice, I was able to fine-tune my writings and re-shape my essays while learning how to better express myself in the future.
