"Civil Engineer Looking to Help Students Grow"
Hello everyone! This is my first go around with tutoring and I'm more than excited to begin! A little about myself, I attended the University of Maine in Orono from 2009 until 2013 where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering. From there I began working at a construction company building windmills all over New England. I am now employed by a local engineering firm, where I am a consultant for several municipalities across Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachu... ... More
Where should I start?? Jehsuamo is a great tutor. In our first class he was excellently prepared to answer any of my questions and he explained to me everything so well which I think that math is actually a very easy class!! In 2 hours we went over EVERYTHING I did in class for the past 3 weeks, amazing! Plus he tries to do whatever he can to help you as much as he can! He gave me 3 different websites to do extra work and watch math videos that explain every topic in pre-calculus. You can also e-mail him any time you want about any questions that you have! Good job Jehsuamo!

I enjoy tutoring because I get to provide real help to people as they pursue their goals. I also appreciate the challenges of listening well, assigning appropriate work, and giving reasonab... ... More
Evan helped my high school daughter with a last minute assignment on the Cold War . History is something that my daughter as many struggle with and truly don't enjoy much. Well, a few times during their tutoring time, I heard my daughter laughing with Evan, and that right there made it all worth it! We had some technical difficulties and he was very understanding and patient with us, which I highly appreciated and took a bit of my stress level down:). My daughter had a 100 in her assignment and a big smile at the end of the day! Evan, you will certainly be contacted again when needed in the future! Thanks for attending promptly and so nicely to my daughter's last minute need!!! Thanks a bunch!

"Experienced Mathematics/Statistics/Biostatistics Tutor"
I am a PhD with college teaching experience, award-winning teaching methods and outstanding student evaluations.
Generally, my preference is to have the student work through "story" problems that apply the mathematics to problems. I am an excellent listener and communicator who likes to have students explain their understanding.
