After exploring multiple ACT tutoring options and then reading John's profile and reviews, I decided that he would be a great tutor for my 17 year old daughter. Thinking we'd give the ACT a test run before tutoring, my daughter's anxiety over her readiness for the ACT made me reconsider and engage John within the two weeks prior to the exam. Despite his bookings and schedule demands, he made room for us and graciously provided 2 tutoring sessions. John was very professional and yet personable - and blended a no-nonsense, get down to work with a friendly and encouraging approach. My daughter's confidence rose markedly and John's teaching along with his patience, helped her immensely, especially in the math area. She is actually looking forward to the April test date and feels with John's help and guidance she will perform even higher. She attributes her proficiency in Math to John and the guidance he gave her in test strategy was invaluable! I have no doubt that her ACT scores, and thus her options of colleges, will greatly benefit from having John as a tutor. As a college professor and mom, I highly recommend him!
