"Versatile Teacher Specializing in Core Academics"

I currently teach several academic subjects at a local learning center and love my job. If I could do it full-time, I would because I love to see my students grow academically and in maturity. Although the academic tutoring is the foundation of what we do, I find that there are many life skills hidden within our scholarship pursuit that helps us become successful beyond the educational realm. As a teacher, I get to know my students and help them find what they love to do by strengthening thei... ... More

"Elementary Math Tutor"

I have just received my Master of Arts in Education from Michigan State University. While a student, I volunteered with students at Wilkeson Elementary, and spent much of my recent time with them working on math skills in small groups. I have found a lot of satisfaction and value in this, so decided to continue it past gaining my degree. Now, I tutor students out of my home, just outside of Buckley and Bonney Lake. I can tutor students in elementary math, from addition, subtraction, multi... ... More

Steven Cushing is a superb tutor. He is not only quite knowledgeable about the science of statistics, but he is also quite effective at explaining the statistical implications in layman's terms. In short, he is an excellent teacher who makes the subjects of statistical research comprehensible to anyone. He is highly recommended!

My children had a short but a very useful time with Ilona. She knew all the subjects and could support them on their homeworks. We're going to have more classes with her. Thank you Ilona!

"Learning is life's adventure."

If you are interested in working with a dedicated professional with passion for education and a love of learning, I am sure I can help you. My style of teaching is based on a holistic approach, minimum stress and maximum results. I believe that there is always a way to explain any problem, and it is my responsibility to find the right way for each of my students to make it clear to them. Also, I don't expect my students to be perfect or understand it right away, but I do expect them to do the... ... More

McKenzey is meant to teach. Not only has she helped me learn, she has instilled confidence in my capabilities. Very professional and yet personal. Comfortable working environment. A++.
My 14 year old son actually enjoys going to his math tutor. He does not like math but he likes David Z. He is easy to contact (text) and always punctual. I would definitely recommend him as a math tutor.
I just realized that I had never posted a review on Jing but I should have. Jing is a very sweet, respectful and kind tutor. She never made us feel inadequate, always smiling and encouraging. If I decide to try the Chinese lessons again I will definately contact Jing.
