Hello! I am a certified teacher in Florida. I have been fortunate to teach mathematics to all grade levels. I enjoy making math fun and easier to solve. Math has receive the most dislikes and hearing students give up with the most famous phrase, “I’m just not good at math”. My education includes a Master of Arts in Education and a Reading Specialist degree. I maintained a 4.0 grade point average for all graduate coursework for these degrees. I have 5 children. Three of those five were diagnosed with various serious medical issues. As such, I chose to home-school two of them and allow the third to remain in school. Two of those children, along with their other ailments, had severe ADHD. One also had a spatial deficit which means his hand to eye coordination was very strained, at best. Additionally, I worked with many ADHD/Special Ed teachers and counselors, via the school system.
