Rodrigo was a great help to me for College Algebra. He really knows his stuff. He didn't even need to look in my textbook for samples on how to work out the problems. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He's nice, very reliable, and most importantly PATIENT!! In order to understand such in depth work, one needs someone who makes them feel comfortable and willing to show them over and over and over again how to do the problems! Awesome tutor!

Carole is a great tutor. My only regret is that I didn't find her earlier in the year. My son feels he learned more in one hour than in a month at school.

I have been teaching at the secondary and undergraduate levels for 17 years. As a teacher of Spanish, I have not only an excellent command of the Spanish language, but also a great deal of cultural knowledge. I lived in Chile in South America for 18 years and in Spain for four. I have traveled throughout Latin America and Spain and consequently I make my classes come alive with real life experiences. I believe that all language classes should include as much authentic material as possible... ... More

As a biology major at Boston College I was a teaching assistant for a year long Biology 101 course. I enjoyed holding review sessions, organizing review materials for exams, and helping students find the answers to their questions.
In addition to studying and teaching on scientific material I also teach salsa and bachata to current graduate and post-graduate healthcare professionals. I find breaking down certain moves and musical concepts helps me become a better teacher when it comes to t... ... More

"English and Math Tutor"
I was a learner myself and would like to become a teacher as well. As an undergraduate college student pursuing a degree in education, I believe my studies have helped me learn what it takes to become a respectable teacher. I have had opportunities to work with students in the past and have learned through them that teaching is not only giving but also earning. I've been able to earn so many valuable lessons from my previous students that I will be able to use with my future students.
