I had an unusual request for a tutor - help my son with his handwriting. Teachers had complained for 3 years that they couldn't read his words. My son also has an anxiety disorder and one of the symptoms is poor handwriting - so it was going to be a huge challenge. Gail was up for the challenge and even combined it with writing papers with proper form, punctuation, and grammar. So much more than what I expected!
My son is in 3rd grade and she was teaching him things he will be able to use throughout his school career, and preparing him for 5th grade writing papers. She even tested my son on his reading level so she would have a benchmark to know where she should start (he tested at a 6th grade reading level!) - and that paperwork/testing helped the counselor at his school. Gail is very patient and always looking for the right motivator for the children she tutors. We used Gail for the whole 3rd grade school year and my son's handwriting is noticeably better, and when he really slows down and focuses it is perfect! With her background, skills, and patience she is the perfect tutor and a great asset for WyzAnt Tutoring. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a tutor.

We did not want our teen to forget everything he learned in math over the summer break so we decided to enlist the help of Jacob to keep his skills current and brush up on the subjects he needs some help with. Jacob is professional and teaches in a way that makes math fully understandable. He seems quite competent in mathematics and always shows up for his appointments on time. Our kid said that one hour with Jacob feels more like 10 minutes. He has never said that about a math class before.

Working with Colron was such a fantastic experience! Not only is he committed to improving your skill level, he teaches test taking techniques and builds your confidence. When I began studying for the GRE, I was discouraged. From the minute I started working with Colron, he believed in me and taught me the material at a reasonable pace. Colron has so much knowledge to share, spanning many topics, which allows him to put test material in understandable terms. He was especially helpful in the math and writing sections.
