Went over how to construct and ICE table from here experimental data for the oxidation of ethanol by NAD+ to acetaldehyde as catalyzed by alcohol dehydrogenase. We talked about how to calculate the equilibrium concentration of NADH from absorbance data, and how to calculate the equilibrium concentrations of the reactants and acetaldehyde.

Even at the first meeting, she prepared contents & lecture. And while having conversation, she noted down what she would correct about my English and tell me the better expression at the end. I figured she is very talented at teaching and has a great attitude. It was a very impressive first meeting. I was a little suspicious about the second meeting if it would not be as great as the first meeting. But the second meeting was even better! And the more time I meet her, the more I like tutoring with her. Jane not only corrects my English but also always comes with perfect examples of expression to explain that I had a question about and I could understand right away. She's always so passionate and patient. You can talk about anything with her. She listens very well. She can be casual but never loses professionalism. Also very energetic and positive attitude with good sense of humor. I learn not only English but also I'm influenced by her great positive energy and attitude which I value highly. And the review from her by email after the class is amazing! Elaborate and very detailed, so I won't forget what I learned in class. I just feel so touched by her effort and passion. I always can't wait to see her next time.
