Mark explained strategies and equations in simpler terms that my statistic book didn't provide. Things that were complicated and hard to understand, he made appear easy and comprehensible. Some things in the book were incomprehensible due to the book's strange way of explaining things and making methods more complicated than they actually are. Mark elaborates on the formulas and explains strict rules such as decimal places. He provides simpler definitions without making the explanation too wordy; something the book couldn't avoid. I highly recommend him.

Thank you so much Michael for your timely help. My son was struggling in Calculus III course and was losing interest in this subject. You helped him regain his confidence and he was able to improve his score by 12 points within 2 months. Thank you so much for filling his gaps in the fundamentals and making him think through the problem.
I highly recommend Michael for all Calculus level courses. Thanks again.

I have a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota with a major in statistics and a minor in mathematics.
I am more interested in helping students who want to understand than those who want to compete for test scores and grades.

Barbara was able to work with my son on very short notice. She helped him work through some problems that he had difficulty understanding and even emailed some additional information after the session was over.

"Math, Physics, Chemistry, ACT tutor"
I have tutored math and science since college. For 4 years, my part time job in college was a teaching assistant at University of Minnesota in General College's Math Center. Also, I worked in Math Special Projects and the Astronomy department as a teaching assistant. After graduation, I was employed as a teacher at Sylvan Learning Center. This was a great opportunity until I decided to start my own tutor business. Tutoring has been my part time business for 10 years.

We've had several sessions with Benjamin. With our busy schedule he continues to be flexible and patient with my son for tutoring sessions. In addition to helping my son with the subject, he's helping him understand how to take a test or prepare for it. It's been a really great experience and helping my son with his understanding and also his confidence with Algebra.

Ms. Eli has been tutoring my son Alexander for over 50 hours. She's such a warm hearted, cheerful and experienced tutor. Alexander is a high school student and was taking Spanish 101 to fulfill a high school credit. He found it very challenging to catch up with this college course, not to mention all the frustrations to learn Spanish as his first world language. Ms. Eli fully understood the situation and has been providing full support for him. We heartily appreciate her flexibility in tutoring in different locations and odd hours. I still remember that Alex fell asleep in the Miller Library when the class was supposed to begin and just couldn't wake up because he's so tired. Ms. Eli waited for 40 minutes there, then decided to reschedule without charging us a penny. It's hard to find somebody who could do that these days. Alex sometimes gave Ms. Eli his teenager attitudes simply because he didn't want to learn Spanish. Ms. Eli managed to put up with him with lots of patience and forgiveness. I cannot say how thankful I am for what she's done for us. I highly recommend her to everyone.

I cant believe it's been 10 months already! My son, now 9 (3rd grade) is showing significant improvement. He is now reading Despereaux and enjoying it! Thank you Anna!
