10,000 Steps A Day — For Life
We have long recommended walking at least 10,000 steps per day to help control weight, maintain aerobic fitness and build bone and muscle strength. To help motivate people, we've also recently developed the Top Ten Tips for Walking to a Healthy Future.
The information has been featured in a variety of local and regional newspapers and magazines. Most recently, Copley News Service reporter Joe Volz tried our tips out, and reported on the favorable results in Bend Weekly: News for Bend Oregon.
