About Christie: I have a degrees in three subjects (Bachelors and Masters in Anthropology and Ph.D. in Art History and Religious Studies). Experience in Reading, Proofreading & editing, social studies, history, and anthropology: I work well with any age group, and have taught everything from Kindergarten to College level classes. -- I have years of experience in proof reading and editing the work of students, colleagues, and my own work. -- Social studies, history (American History and World History), anthropology and archaeology have strong commonalities, and my students tell me that I make the subjects interesting because I have a passion for these subjects. Special Needs Experience: I have over two decades of experience working with special needs children and adults, both in the U.S. and abroad. In the U.S., I was called to a special education classroom at least a third of the time. I volunteered in Singapore to work with a special education school for a summer, and volunteered to work with special needs adults in St. Kitts, when I was in the Peace Corps.
