One of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my ability to customize and tailor my teaching style to suit your needs. The other is my ability to simplify theories, break down concepts, and help you truly understand the subject matter in a fun and memorable way. As having recently passed the NCLEX last year, there are several recommended approaches in studying for the test I personally used and willing to share. I have used many different strategies and techniques such as the Method of Loci, the Link System, and the Peg System to name a few. Through these methods and many others, I have been able to gain insight into my students learning styles (i.e., visual, verbal, etc.,) to not only to help them reach their potential, but to also help better prepare themselves in passing the NCLEX.
I have my B.A in Psychology from UC San Diego and my Master's in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University.
The NCLEX exam, also known as the National Council Licensure Examination, is a standardized exam that each state board of nursing uses to determine whether or not a candidate is prepared for entry-level nursing practice.
