I have my masters degree in Elementary Education. I took a special education course in college, and am currently a regular education teacher with special education students in my classroom. Some of my students have and have had
ADD/ADHD. I work very closely with these students as well as their special education teacher on a daily basis. Students with ADD and ADHD should work with hands on activities, as well as be provided with visuals during all lessons. It is important to get to know each student on an individual basis to understand their needs.
