I am a an experienced tutor in math, the physical sciences, engineering and logic. My main object in tutoring is to show the student the EASY way to solve problems and to build up their confidence in their ability to do so.
I have been teaching and tutoring for the past 50 years and have helped many students achieve their academic goals....
I started programming in 1964 on an IBM 1401 in assembly language (AUTOCODER). For the next 23 years I for the following machines, mostly in FORTRAN but sometimes in assembly language: RCA 301, IBM 1620, Univac 1107/1108, Xerox Sigma 7, DEC PDP 10, IBM 370/168, Prime 50 series.
I have a MSCS from NJIT. The course of study included courses in algorithm analysis and design, data comm., operations research, numerical analysis and other subjects.
I took an undergrad course in ODE as well as well as a grad course call Mathematical Methods which covered Sturm-Liouville PDE systems at Ohio State. At Penn State, I took a grad course in PDEs. I have tutored before in this subject.
I taught PHL151 (Modern logic) at Ann Arundel Community College for several years. Also, I audited Math450 (Mathematical logic) at the University of Maryland and took an EE course in logical design at Penn State.
