I am a retired educator who has taught English for 27 years. Most of that time was having fun teaching English to middle school students and several years to freshmen in high school. My love for language and my background in Latin have helped many students who have claimed to "hate English" gain at least an appreciation for the complexities of our oft confusing language; many of my students have gone on to major in English education in college and have returned to thank me.
