Thanks for looking at my profile! I have been teaching and tutoring math and the sciences since 2001, and I am extremely comfortable with the material and how to tutor it to the individual student. I specialize in math from basic algebra through advanced calculus, as well as physics with and without calculus. Within my travel radius, my fee on WyzAnt is what you see. I do not go up nor down with that fee because at that level, I can fill my entire schedule, and I don't believe in wasting eit...

In the process of training to become a school teacher, I took a course in teaching students with disabilities. Training included student teaching at a school and working one-on-one with a student who was diagnosed with ADHD. Since receiving my certification, I have had over 100 students who had IEPs that include diagnosis of ADHD, both inattentive type and hyperactive type.

Juan has tutored for the SSAT and SHSAT math sections with great success. He has found that even middle schoolers can increase not just their math skills, but their level of thinking, to the point where they are able to solve abstract problems on their own and, in particular, they are able to solve the math problems found in their standardized tests.
