I am Deaf of Deaf meaning both of my parents were Deaf. I am a native ASL signer. I attended Texas School for the Deaf and then went to Gallaudet University. Eventually, I received a Master of Education degree from University of Arkansas and afterwards after years of working as a counselor I became professor at San Antonio College teaching ASL.
